Brand New Rag Wreaths just in time for Valentine's Day!

This is a mini round wreath I created...it would be perfect as a traditional wreath OR as a wall hanging OR as a hanger from the door!

This 10" wreath was made on a heart wreath form...I realize it is hard to tell but in person you can really see the shape:)

Oh, how I love these 6" mini heart shaped wreaths...I made this one with a variety of Valentine's Day fabric!

Those of you who *know me well* know that I love mixing prints and textures...almost as much as I love gingham! So, this was particularly fun to create...a heart shaped wreath, 10" sizing out of mixed gingham check plaid!

My opening on the thread in etsy.....I just thought I would check in with anyone who may be interested in doing some type of coordinated effort to kick off the shopping season? Usually I see threads about this but I hadn't seen one yet...so, here goes one!

I'm more than happy to organize it but if you want to participate I would expect some help in promoting it!!!

I just picked those 5 days (Thanksgiving through that busy online Monday)....black friday through cyber monday because I wasn't really interested in doing anything ongoing....just something short and sweet!

I would assume that anyone participating could help promote by doing some of the following...
-twittering and all other online social networking apps
-doing blog write ups
-putting messages in their store announcements
-and we could have one *official* thread running in promos here on etsy

I see it working like this:
It is a general "sale" being promoted but each store has their own policy--their own sale specifics CLEARLY POSTED front and center on the announcements section!

So, if you are interested, just post here and we'll go from there!

As for a clever name? anyone?

Move over bacon, I found something meatier: Ping.fm!

These days it seems as if these social networking and self promotion sites have been springing up faster and faster...every day there are new ones to join! Which means more time spending online posting messages to 3, 4....up to 10 different sites. It is endless. And then I came across Ping.fm tonight!

Ping.fm is a newer program (I believe) that I would call your "social networking executive assistant"! It is quite literally like "one stop messaging"! You spend 10 minutes plugging in all of your info for all of of your sites and then it manages them all for you...it literally does all of the leg work:) You want to make a post about something...open your ping.fm account and it posts to all of your sites!

Let the madness begin...Christmas is on!

So, to celebrate, I created an etsy treasury late last night to celebrate all that we do during the next 2 months!
My favorites are designed for the kiddo's- check out the diy snowflakes and cookie cutter set!

Productive weekends are "good things"...

And boy was I in need of a productive weekend! A few weeks ago I was on one of my favorite Japanese fabric websites and came across all of these fabrics...so I ordered a lot and they just came on Friday. I love the snow bunnies and the penguins! I made a whole bunch of hair clips, headband wraps, jumbo hip clips and a few other goodies that I haven't photographed yet:)
