A good laugh: a man, a scent and burger king!

Imagine this whopper in a fragrance...it's inconceivable, no? Well, apparently not!

Burger King might just have taken the idea of *charbroiled* too far this time...While watching MORNING JOE this morning, Willie featured this brand new product on his *news you can't use* segment...I was just floored. I don't know whether to laugh or to get sick....

Meet *flame*....The official Burger King Fragrance for men!

Burger King, which sells Flame through Rickey's, a New York City retailer, and at firemeetsdesire.com, bills Flame as "a new men's body spray: the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat." Unbelievably, some who have sniffed this concoction find it appealing.

I couldn't make this stuff up...

The Homesteading Housewife: Forgotten Kiss Cookies
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO making these cookies, Dana!

Dana's Forgotten Kiss Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup softened margarine
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 9oz. bag Hershey Kisses

Chocolate drizzle (optional, directions below)

Directions

1. Preheat over to 375 degrees f.
2. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugars, and vanilla until well blended.
3. Add the flour and blend until smooth.
   
4. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
5. Mold a scant Tablespoon of cookie dough around each unwrapped kiss, covering completely. Shape into balls.
6. Place into un-greased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
8. Cool slightly, move from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
9. Prepare chocolate drizzle, if desired, drizzle over each cooled cookie.
10. Enjoy!
    

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

Chocolate Drizzle = In a small microwavable bowl, place 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon shortening. Microwave for 30 seconds to melt. stir until smooth. Drizzle over cookies.

Gingerbread Delight on Lollishops.com!

I just ordered our undecorated gingerbread house from the local bakery. I'll pick it up on the 18th. Every year, the days leading up to Christmas, (you know, when the kids are out of school and are on the brink of driving you over the edge) I have my children work on decorating the house.
